FILM TREATMENT
TIMELESS
PERSONAL
CREATIVE NARRATIVE

I want to create a wedding film that YOU will love watching—not just now, but decades from now.
Something YOUR future kids and grandkids will also enjoy.
It’ll feel honest. It’ll show YOUR real personalities.
It’s about what feels true.
It’s not about what looks best on camera.
NAH, LET’S HAVE THE BEST LOOKING FRAMES FOR THIS.

YOU mentioned YOU’re people pleasers—but I believe the best way to truly please others is by being YOURSELVES.
That’s what this film will celebrate. No pretending. No overproduction. Just real love, real laughs, real moments.
The edit will follow a loose narrative—anchored by vows AND CANDID AUDIO, SUPPORTED by the events of the day.
We’ll bring out YOUR charm and character through visual storytelling—some playful edits, raw emotions, and intentional pacing.

Since Migs is a director and Jaz is an on-screen talent, the film will open and close like a scene:
Clapboard with: “Migs & Jaz Wedding – Take One”
We’ll hear someone call it out, then clap the slate.
That slate will return at the end—bringing everything full circle.
● Lighting: Mostly natural, I want to keep things real and unfiltered
● Pictorial: Will explore RGB lighting for a stylized twist
● Camera lenses: Sony GM lenses for autofocus—sharp, reliable since we cant do a second take
● Portrait/post-nup shoot: Using anamorphic for a dreamier, more cinematic look
EDITING
● Intro montage with overlaid title—still a favorite approach
● Playful edits: fast cuts, grain overlays, film burns
● Color grading: Filmic, textured, timeless
● Vows: They’ll be the backbone—carrying the emotional weight of the edit
● Super 8 for social media version—adds nostalgia, personality
