We filmed their portraits a week before the wedding, during Jaz’s trial makeup and gown fitting. This gave us space to create beautiful, cinematic shots without the time pressure. Having this allowed us to focus on what truly matters during the wedding itself: the raw, unscripted, and priceless moments.
The film opens with a nod to Migs’ world as a director. Starting with a clapboard, just like on set. Because while nothing about this day was staged, it was cinematic in every way that counts.
Crafted with a narrative flow, subtle film textures, and an edit style that plays with pace and personality. This wedding film isn’t just a keepsake. It’s a time capsule.

Arvin and Kikx | a wedding film by The Spark Series
Hey guys, Dux here. Posting this film personally because this wedding feels very close to my heart.
Full circle moments like this remind me why I love what I do.
Arvin was one of the first people who introduced me to using a camera—without his inspiration, I might not be a wedding filmmaker today. And on his wedding day, his gift to Kikx was, well, a camera.
We thought, what better way to start its journey than by capturing their own wedding through their eyes? During cocktail hour, they filmed their interactions with guests—memories, made and kept, in the most personal way.
Their day was light, natural, and full of intent—just the way love should be. Oh, and we spotted so many of our past (and future) couples here too. Good times, always.

The day started calm and relaxed. Bertie and Ricky took things easy, setting the tone for what would be a heartfelt celebration.
Our job was simple: capture their wedding as unobtrusively as possible. This approach is key to getting natural, honest shots, and we made sure to blend into the background, letting the day unfold on its own.
We came in neutral, observing the energy of the day. There was no need to direct or intervene—everything felt genuine and effortless.
What stood out most was how personal this wedding felt. Bertie and Ricky’s vows complemented each other perfectly, the love and energy from their guests were evident, and their closeness with their family was something special.
The attendance of some renowned artists reflect the respect and love for Louie, Bertie’s dad, and his contributions to the industry. It was clear this wasn’t just a wedding but a celebration of meaningful connections shared on an important day.

In the unassuming but alluring town of Alfonso, Paolo and Ella, two vibrant souls entwined by their love for dance and art, embarked on a wedding journey like no other. Their special day was truly a celebration of passion, spontaneity, and a bond that knew no boundaries.
